Dear DBO Family:

I want to start by sharing a passage of Scripture of hope and security.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

As followers of Jesus we need to prayerful proceed in wisdom. I personally wanted to give you an update on what is happening at Downtown Baptist Orlando.

  • We are abiding by CDC guidelines and will not have service(s) or gatherings until it is recommended; no earlier than April 30, 2020.
  • We are continuing to livestream our services through our church website, Facebook Live, and our new YouTube channel. In addition, you can listen by phone, just dial 425-436-6309, PIN number 479474#, reference number 1. See links below to watch online.

  • On Wednesday nights at 7pm we are doing a live Praise and Prayer Chat. You can participate by phone, just dial (725) 735-9919. When you dial in please mute your phone. Others can watch via Facebook Live and view the Praise and Prayer Chat as a Webinar.
  • Thank you in your faithfulness in your giving to the Lord and DBO. Please continue to give by going to the church website, using the online community, or mailing in your offering (120 E. Pine Street, Orlando, FL 32801).
  • Let us take this opportunity to grow closer to God and use the new resource called Right Now Media. I encourage you to check out the study by Tony Evans titled “The Power of Jesus’ Names.” May we grow together in one accord as we learn about Jesus and His powerful names. Here is the link to connect you to the study.
  • I want to convey that your church staff, deacons, and I are here for you. Should you need assistance or prayer, please contact us by phone send an email, or contact a deacon.
  • Lastly, use this time this time to connecting Jesus with Orlando. Share Jesus wherever you go, if and when possible, and watch Jesus use you in a mighty way.

Please know that you are loved and being prayed for right now. We need to continue communing together through the Holy Spirit, drawing near to God, seeking His wisdom, and sharing Jesus to others.


Turn your eyes upon Jesus look full in His wonderful face
and the things of earth with grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.
